I Gotta Do What!!? at Phoenix Comicon

This was the sixth time I’ve done the presentation “I Gotta Do What?!!!!! A Primer for Independent Film Distribution” but the first time at Phoenix Comicon. We met with film makers from all over the state of Arizona and even a few from out of state.

“I Gotta Do What” comes from years of learning about the pitfalls and perils of the independent distribution game. We talk about maximizing your sales and those items you need to take into consideration from the very beginning, all the way through to the sale of your film. What do you need to remember? What paperwork do you need to prepare? How are your contracts going to look and how are your payments going to be determined/returned.

Sorry to those that couldn’t make it out. We’ll try to let you know when we’re doing this next. We’re still waiting to hear from San Diego Comicon about presenting, if not, we’ll see who’s next on the list…
